# Requirements for SmolBoi-Event-Xtreme

To participate in **SmolBoi-Event-Xtreme**, you need a complete **BOI + LadyBOI pair** in the **same wallet**. The system verifies eligibility directly on-chain, so both NFTs must be held by a single address and be available for use at the moment you initiate the attempt.

> Minimum requirements

To proceed, make sure you have:

* 1× BOI
* 1× LadyBOI
* both NFTs in the same wallet, ready to be selected inside the upcoming “SmolBoi-Event-Xtreme” interface.
* a little ETH to cover the gas

{% hint style="info" %}
As a practical rule, the NFTs should be “free to use” (i.e., not tied up in another action). If you currently have your BOI or LadyBOI listed or otherwise committed to a different flow, bring it back to your wallet before entering the event so the interface can use it without conflicts.
{% endhint %}

> Missing a pair?

If your **BOI or LadyBOI doesn’t have a matching counterpart**, you can still participate by completing the pair through the rental mechanic. This is what **Rent-a-BOI** is for: it lets you temporarily access the missing side of the pair instead of buying it outright.

Use the button below to learn how rentals work and how to complete a pair:

Once the pair is complete, you’ll be able to select your BOI and LadyBOI in the SmolBoi-Event-Xtreme interface and proceed with the on-chain attempt under the event rules.
